Russell Tate is a Nuu-chah-nulth artist from the Ditidaht First Nation on the southwest coast of Vancouver Island. Born in Port Alberni, Russell began carving in 2004 and is a self-taught artist specializing in Nuu-chah-nulth style masks, paddles and small totems.
