Kenny (Skyler) Puglas is from the four tribes from Kingcome Inlet, BC and Village Island. Puglas comes from a rich heritage of hereditary chiefs and practices my culture by
sustaining the ceremonial masks and legends of his village.

Kenny S. Puglas has been designing and carving Dzawada'enuxw art pieces for about fifteen years.  He is self-taught and has studied other artists in his village but is mainly self-taught. Puglas learned formline of his hereditary lineage at age 11 and uses traditional colours for ceremonial works and contemporary colours for non-ceremonial pieces.
