Terry Jackson

Terry Jackson was born in 1955 in Victoria, BC. At 16, he started to learn some of the amazing qualities of the last century's masters of Northwest Coast art. With help and assistance from the Hunt family and other carvers, Jackson learned and became adept at the nuances of the northern style of Northwest Coast art. Interest in his Plains heritage and European scroll-type design broadened his artistic sense as well.

In 1994, Jackson began experimenting with the challenging medium of porcelain, producing beautiful vases and bowls that blended both technical and artistic skills.
