Chris Cook

Chris is a member of the Thunderbird Clan of the Namgis in Alert Bay, BC; part of the Kwakwaka'wakw Nation. Chris grew up surrounded by traditional Kwakwaka'wakw culture and he is a Potlatch Chief in his Big House.

Chris studied metalworking in high school and continued his work with a silversmithing course at Camosun College while working on his undergrad from the University of Victoria. He has been expanding his metalworking skills by training in New York and Tuscany, Italy to study under renowned Bulgarian silversmith Valentin Yotkov. Chris Cook lives and works in Alert Bay, BC.
