Simon Reece

Simon Reece is a writer, as well as an artist, and he has contributed to Red Wire Native Youth Media. His father is renowned artist Victor Reece. Simon worked with Tsimshian/Cree artist Phil Gray between 2003-2007, focusing on mask-making. He has also worked with Nuu-chah-nulth artist Joe David. In February of 2008, Simon graduated from the Northwest Coast Jewellery Arts Program at the Native Education College in Vancouver, BC, which was led by Kwakwaka’wakw/Haida artist Dan Wallace.
